Video & Streaming

Youku premium link generator

Youku is a major Chinese video platform hosting user-uploaded clips, TV episodes, movies, and anime. Free downloading from Youku often involves slow speeds, format restrictions, or additional software. Premium Downloader lets you grab any public Youku video directly as an MP4 file, bypassing the platform's download slowdowns.

About Youku

Youku is one of China's largest video-sharing websites, similar to YouTube but with a focus on licensed Chinese TV shows, movies, and user-generated content. Videos are uploaded by users or posted by official channels. Each video gets a unique URL. Standard free downloads are limited to lower resolutions or require a paid membership. Youku enforces regional restrictions on some content.

Youku link formats we accept

  • http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNjAyNzQxMjg2NA==.html
  • https://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMjg3NjY5NjA2NA==.html?spm=a2h0k.11417342.soresults.dtitle

What slows down a free Youku download

  • Free users experience throttled download speeds, making large files impractical.
  • Only low-resolution versions (360p or 480p) are available for download without a subscription.
  • Some videos require a VIP account or are region-locked for non-Chinese IP addresses.
  • No batch download support; each video must be handled individually on the site.

Our generator sits in front of limits like these for the hosts we serve. Youku is not one of them right now: none of our premium accounts can fetch its files. Paste a link above and leave your email to be told when that changes. See pricing.

Youku downloads: questions people ask

Can I download 1080p or higher resolution videos from Youku?

Youku often reserves high-resolution downloads for VIP members. With Premium Downloader, you can retrieve the highest available quality for public videos, which may be 1080p if the uploader provided it. Some 4K content is also accessible if the source file is public.

Why do some Youku videos fail to download even with the correct URL?

Youku restricts certain videos by region (geo-blocking) or requires a login (e.g., for licensed shows). Our service works with publicly accessible videos. If a video is region-locked, you may need to provide a link that is accessible from the server's IP location. We do not bypass paywalls or login requirements.

What video format does Premium Downloader provide for Youku?

Youku videos are delivered in MP4 container with H.264 codec. The exact audio codec is typically AAC. We extract the highest quality stream available. Subtitles (if any) are not included by default, but some embedded soft subtitles may be retained depending on the source.

Do I need a Youku account to download videos through your service?

No account is required. You only need the public video URL. If the video requires a login to view, our service will not be able to access it. For publicly accessible videos, we handle the download without any Youku membership.

How much does downloading from Youku cost?

We cannot serve Youku right now, so there is no price for it. Paste a Youku link and leave your email, and we will tell you when it is supported. For the hosts we do serve, each file has one price, set by its host class and its size, or is taken from a package's quota. The pricing page lists those hosts and their prices.

Is it safe to use this Youku generator?

Transfers run over HTTPS end to end. We do not store the files you download or keep a record of your download history beyond what is needed to deliver the link you requested.
