Other Services

Kickstarter premium link generator

If you have a download link from a Kickstarter campaign, you are likely trying to access a digital reward—such as a PDF, video, or software—that was offered to backers. While Kickstarter itself does not host large files, creators often provide direct links to their rewards. Downloading these files directly can be slow, require a logged-in account, or involve navigating campaign pages.

About Kickstarter

Kickstarter is a global crowdfunding platform where creators launch projects and offer rewards to backers. Digital rewards, from e-books to design files, are common. After a campaign ends, creators typically distribute download links to backers through updates or pledge management pages. These links may be hosted on third-party services or on Kickstarter's own system for smaller files. Backers often need to log in to access their downloads.

Kickstarter link formats we accept

  • https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/<creator>/<project>/updates/<update_id>/download/<filename>

What slows down a free Kickstarter download

  • Anonymous users may not access rewards without a logged-in account.
  • Download speeds may be limited when accessing files through Kickstarter's own servers.
  • Some creators restrict downloads to backers only, requiring pledge confirmation.
  • Download links may expire after a certain period set by the creator.

Our generator sits in front of limits like these for the hosts we serve. Kickstarter is not one of them right now: none of our premium accounts can fetch its files. Paste a link above and leave your email to be told when that changes. See pricing.

Kickstarter downloads: questions people ask

How do I find my download links for a Kickstarter reward?

After backing, check the campaign's Updates section or your pledge management page. Creators often post links there. You may need to log into your Kickstarter account to see them. Some campaigns also email links.

My Kickstarter download link expired. Can I get a new one?

Contact the creator directly via Kickstarter's messaging system. Many creators can regenerate links or provide alternative download methods. Expired links are common for time-limited rewards.

Do I need a Kickstarter account to download a reward?

Yes, typically you need to be logged into the account used to back the campaign. Creators restrict downloads to confirmed backers to prevent unauthorized access.

Why is my download slow from a Kickstarter project?

If the file is hosted on Kickstarter's own servers, bandwidth may be limited. Alternatively, the creator may use a third-party host with its own speed restrictions. Try downloading during off-peak hours.

How much does downloading from Kickstarter cost?

We cannot serve Kickstarter right now, so there is no price for it. Paste a Kickstarter link and leave your email, and we will tell you when it is supported. For the hosts we do serve, each file has one price, set by its host class and its size, or is taken from a package's quota. The pricing page lists those hosts and their prices.

Is it safe to use this Kickstarter generator?

Transfers run over HTTPS end to end. We do not store the files you download or keep a record of your download history beyond what is needed to deliver the link you requested.
