Pinterest premium link generator
Pinterest is a visual discovery engine where users save ideas as images, videos, and GIFs to themed boards. Often, the highest-resolution version of a pinned image is not directly accessible, as Pinterest compresses previews and obscures the source URL. Downloading multiple files or full boards manually is tedious, requiring right-click workarounds or browser extensions. Premium Downloader streamlines this process by extracting the original media file from any public pin URL, saving you time and ensuring you get the best quality available.
About Pinterest
Pinterest is a social bookmarking and visual discovery platform launched in 2010. Users collect and organize images, videos, and links onto boards by topic—recipes, fashion, DIY, travel, and more. Each pinned item appears as a thumbnail with a link to the original source or an uploaded file. While images are displayed at various resolutions, the highest-quality version is often hidden behind the pin's source page. Pinterest is widely used by creatives, hobbyists, and professionals for inspiration and reference material.

What slows down a free Pinterest download
- No one-click download button for the original high-resolution image from a pin.
- Images displayed on Pinterest are often compressed or resized, reducing quality.
- Downloading multiple pins or an entire board requires manual workarounds or scripts.
- Direct access to the full-resolution file URL is hidden behind a redirect or source page.
Our generator sits in front of limits like these for the hosts we serve. Pinterest is not one of them right now: none of our premium accounts can fetch its files. Paste a link above and leave your email to be told when that changes. See pricing.

Pinterest downloads: questions people ask
How do I find the original URL of an image on Pinterest?
Pinterest does not show the original source URL directly on the pin. To find it, you can right-click the image and select 'Inspect Element' to locate the 'src' attribute in the HTML, or use a downloader that automatically extracts the full-resolution link. Alternatively, clicking through to the source website may provide the original file.
Why are downloaded images from Pinterest sometimes lower quality?
Pinterest compresses and resizes images for faster loading. The thumbnail you see is often a lower-resolution version. To get the original quality, you need to access the image hosted on the source website or find the pin's 'originals' URL pattern (e.g., i.pinimg.com/originals/...). Not all users have the patience to manually trace this.
Can I download an entire Pinterest board at once?
Pinterest does not offer a native batch download feature. To download a whole board, you would need to use third-party tools or browser extensions that automate the process. Premium Downloader can handle single pin downloads, but for boards you may need to run each pin URL individually or use a dedicated bulk downloader.
Is it legal to save images from Pinterest?
Saving images for personal inspiration is generally accepted, but respect copyright. Many pins link to original creators' work. If you intend to use the image commercially or republish it, you should obtain permission from the copyright holder. Pinterest itself does not own most content—it's a curation platform.
How much does downloading from Pinterest cost?
We cannot serve Pinterest right now, so there is no price for it. Paste a Pinterest link and leave your email, and we will tell you when it is supported. For the hosts we do serve, each file has one price, set by its host class and its size, or is taken from a package's quota. The pricing page lists those hosts and their prices.
Is it safe to use this Pinterest generator?
Transfers run over HTTPS end to end. We do not store the files you download or keep a record of your download history beyond what is needed to deliver the link you requested.
