Send premium link generator
Send is an open-source, end-to-end encrypted file sharing service. Users often share sensitive or large files that are meant to be downloaded only a few times. Free downloads from Send can be slow due to the encryption overhead, server load, and the fact that files are often hosted on community-run infrastructure with limited bandwidth.
About Send
Send is a privacy-focused, open-source file sharing platform based on the Firefox Send protocol. It allows users to upload files that are automatically encrypted on the client side, with the decryption key embedded in the link. Files have a default expiration time and download limit, after which they are permanently deleted. The service is commonly used by journalists, activists, and anyone who needs to share data securely without leaving a permanent trace.

What slows down a free Send download
- Free uploads are subject to a file size cap that is often lower than paid alternatives.
- Files are automatically deleted after a set number of downloads, typically just one.
- Download speeds may be throttled on busy community servers.
- Files expire within a limited time window, often a few hours or days.
Our generator sits in front of those limits: you paste the Send link, we fetch the file through premium accounts, and you get a direct link that resumes if your connection drops. Pay-as-you-go costs $0.05 per 100MB, so a single file is usually a few cents.
When people use this Send downloader
- Securely sharing confidential documents with colleagues.
- Sending large media files that email cannot handle.
- Providing a one-time download link for a sensitive password file.

Send downloads: questions people ask
How long does a file stay on Send before it expires?
Send sets an expiration time based on the uploader's settings, typically ranging from 1 hour to 7 days. Once the time elapses, the file is permanently deleted from the server and cannot be recovered.
Can I resume a download from Send if my connection drops?
Send does not support resume for downloads. If the download is interrupted, you must request a new link from the sender or start the download again from scratch, provided the file has not expired or exceeded its download limit.
Is the encryption on Send truly end-to-end?
Yes, Send encrypts files in the browser before uploading, so the encryption key is never stored on the server. The server only receives the encrypted file, and the decryption key is passed via the link. This means even the server operator cannot access the file contents.
Why are downloads from Send sometimes very slow?
Download speeds on Send can vary because many Send instances are run by volunteers on limited bandwidth. Additionally, the encryption/decryption process adds overhead, and popular files may be queued. Using Premium Downloader can bypass these slowdowns by fetching the file on faster infrastructure.
How much does downloading from Send cost?
Pay-as-you-go is $0.05 per 100MB, billed in 100MB blocks and rounded up, so a small file costs a few cents. Monthly plans are available if you download regularly. You only pay for what you transfer.
Is it safe to use this Send generator?
Transfers run over HTTPS end to end. We do not store the files you download or keep a record of your download history beyond what is needed to deliver the link you requested.
