Imgur premium link generator
Imgur is one of the most widely used image hosting platforms on the internet, where users upload and share photos, memes, screenshots, and GIFs. While browsing Imgur is fast, downloading multiple images or full albums directly from the site can be tedious due to manual saving and image compression. Premium Downloader helps you fetch your Imgur links quickly, preserving the original quality without the hassle of clicking each image individually.
About Imgur
Imgur was launched in 2009 as a simple image sharing service for Reddit users and has since grown into a massive community-driven image host. Users upload images (JPEG, PNG, GIF, and animated GIFs) which are stored on Imgur's servers and can be shared via direct links or embedded in other sites. The platform also supports albums and galleries. It is commonly used by social media users, forum members, and content creators to host visual content, though free accounts face limitations on upload size and bandwidth.

What slows down a free Imgur download
- Free users are limited to image uploads under a certain file size (commonly 20 MB for static images).
- Direct image links may expire if not accessed frequently, causing broken downloads.
- Albums can only contain up to a moderate number of images without a paid account.
- Thumbnails and compressed versions are served by default, not the original image quality.
Our generator sits in front of limits like these for the hosts we serve. Imgur is not one of them right now: none of our premium accounts can fetch its files. Paste a link above and leave your email to be told when that changes. See pricing.

Imgur downloads: questions people ask
Can I download an entire Imgur album at once?
Imgur does not provide a built-in 'download all' button for albums. However, with Premium Downloader, you can paste the album link and retrieve all images in a single batch, saving you the effort of clicking each image individually.
Does Imgur compress images when I download them?
When you download an image directly from Imgur's page, the site may serve a compressed version to reduce bandwidth. Premium Downloader fetches the original source file from Imgur's CDN, preserving the full quality as uploaded.
Why are some Imgur direct links not working?
Imgur may remove or block direct links if they are not accessed for a certain period, or if the image violates their terms. Using a download service like Premium Downloader can sometimes bypass these restrictions by mimicking a valid request.
Can I download animated GIFs from Imgur as GIF or MP4?
Imgur converts uploaded GIFs to MP4 (video) format for faster loading, but also retains the original GIF. Premium Downloader allows you to choose between downloading the GIF or MP4 version, depending on your preference.
How much does downloading from Imgur cost?
We cannot serve Imgur right now, so there is no price for it. Paste a Imgur link and leave your email, and we will tell you when it is supported. For the hosts we do serve, each file has one price, set by its host class and its size, or is taken from a package's quota. The pricing page lists those hosts and their prices.
Is it safe to use this Imgur generator?
Transfers run over HTTPS end to end. We do not store the files you download or keep a record of your download history beyond what is needed to deliver the link you requested.
